So which ACOG for full blown larping? Or is there something better now? Range from 25-500 yards is the intended use. I'm not interested in an LPVO though. I have those on other rifles already.

TA31 of you want as close to issue as possible.

The TA11 however is a very good general purpose fixed power, you loose .5x magnification, and the optic is overall bigger, but the eye relief is much more forgiving.

10-4 was looking at the TA31. I'll take a look at the TA11. Which reticle do you prefer?
I like the green chevron. I've never been able to get it to wash out and i find it to be extremely accurate, and fast up close.

This was with a regular 6920, not the SOCOM

Giessle SSA. The SSF is the select fire version and is SOCOM approved
I want the Giessle, but I'm not sure I want to fork out the money for one. The Larue is 95% as good as the Giessle IMO, but nearly 1/3 the price. This may be a buy once cry once type thing for me and I may still go for the Giessle just because.
