I really wish they’d put a manual in one trim level. Tacoma has one, why can the 4Runner. I’d be pretty tempted to get one.

I’m surprised Car and Driver likes my little rental car…I can’t believe it’s nearly $45k. Seems pretty quick, both driving it and the specs

Regardless, a plug-in hybrid makes no sense for a rental car.

I like the looks/equipment but all models come with the turbo 4cyl good for 278hp unless you get the hybrid which is around 325hp. Underwhelming, to say the least.

Tax break on top of fleet discount. Makes plenty of sense when you consider CA probably gave them a blowjob for that feature, too.

Yeah sorta like the 500e clown car I had…it was a compliance car. Zero down and $49/month, but gave FCA enough emission credits to sell the cars that actually make money LOL

But this is killing me…talk about range anxiety, this dumb car only has a 208 mile range to empty, so I’m getting gas almost every day.

Just a full tank. The battery was empty when I got it and it’s been empty the whole time I’ve had it.

I dunno how big it is, but this is about how much fuel I’m putting into it…the location I’m going to every day is about an hour away on winding 2-lane mountainous roads, so I’m getting pretty poor MPG

That's Not even 24 MPG. Where's that hybrid bump? The Prius, even after they de-rated it Was supposed to get 50 mpg...
