I'm all for it, but we need Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana to go with us, obviously for the oil and gas production, but also for the mountains, fresh water lakes/sportsman activities and Tabasco in the new union.
Maybe Mexico would join us? Cholula is MUCH better than Tabasco... Avery Island doesn't allow motorcycles btw:

Is all fine and dandy as guys are want to talk shit. But what happens when push comes to shove at the border? Is easy to talk noise and pooch out your chest when no one is talking back. Time will tell...
I think we have seen Texas knows how to control an international border...

I wouldn’t mind secession. I don’t have any rosy ideal images of how it’ll just be super easy at first, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world for us. I just don’t think we’re quite at that tipping point where it would popularly be supported.

There are way too many liberals here to make it work.

Central state continues to demonstrate it is nothing but a leech upon the States and citizens of the States.

    It's time to secede Texas!

    Naples TX.

Texas seems to be about the only state with a set of balls.
Not near enough. Pleasant to think it, but the reality of who has moved into the Great State of Texas played out not long ago.
Far too many feeble minded here now.

    Maybe.

I never understood the the appeal of a pansy candy ass piece of *** like Beta.

Of course, these days the results of polls and votes seem suspect at best.

There were also a large number of unpatriotic people in the original 13 that did not support the revolution, and we all know how that turned out.

For me, rather than succession, I would prefer to see the rest country get their collective shit together and set things back on a constitutional track.
But when that fails, I am alll in.
