People are still pissed about it.

Being that they're located in Illinois - they were trying to get special carve outs to Illinois laws - instead of just saying "fuckally'all" and moving to a free state. Rock River was in on the same shenanigans.

They blamed it on PR people - but someone, some executive had to sign off on it.

Left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Kind of like how Smith & Wesson and Ruger jumped on the Clinton AWB in the 90's. Takes a long time to forgive. I guess if you release some new hotness it makes people's memories fade faster. Change of management sure helps with that too.
