There were a lot of weird things that happened in wartime Europe, the mischlinge soldiers were well-known but the strangest thing was the situation in Finland: SS fighting alongside Finnish Jews against the Soviets that had a nasty habit of invading, Finland was forced to pay reparations after the war despite the fact their nazi allegiance was a reaction to Soviet aggression.
