I learn new things at every meet. I'll have a lot more to say later when I'm not posting from my phone. However, I thought y'all might enjoy seeing me re-learn a lesson I've encountered in the past but somehow managed to forget.

When it's windy in the morning and your hat gets blown off several times, it's OK to take it off. Just remember to put something back on later in the day when the primary weather description changes from "windy" to "sunny".

Somehow, I seem to have ignored that truism today. I just shot this picture in my hotel room.

I can be rather thick, sometimes. :)

I have few panoramic shots of the firing line but they are too big to upload. If someone can do it, PM me an email, and I will let you do it.

Hats off the the BBQ chefs, and all of the contributors for the lunch. It was delicious!

Ben, we exchanged the intricate details of facial hair growth in the lunch line.

You never sat still long enough for me to properly introduce myself.
I thought I was watching Usain Bolt ...

Had a great time as well great to put names to faces. I hate to be the guy though that takes the fun out of it, but there were several safety issues over on the pistol range. I was personally flagged more than once. Also there need to be a full seize fire. I saw a few people down range and found myself down range (at one point) with people trying to fire.

Thanks to all who made this day as awesome as it was. Ben, Chuck, a special thanks for the full auto experience for me and momma. Flinching and dawico for the big guns.
I know I'm forgetting others who were so generous. I'll recall later.

Phone seriously puts in flinching everytime I type younggun. Maybe that's rectified now.

Valid points. Most of the TGT participants have been through a range procedure briefing. I saw several errors by non-TGT folks that were over before I could open my mouth. I hate to admit but I also screwed up once and was swept more than once by people who should know better.

It will definitely be a topic of discussion amongst the planners. Rest assured of that.

ETA - If you feel the topic should be discussed immediately, please don't hesitate to.start a new thread for it.
