Why do you or him think you need a 30.06 sign for election day?

They may have an answer for everything to bad it does not need an answer.

Why do you think that I think that?
He is the liberal, non CHL quick with the justification.

I don't really care if the letters are contrasting colors or what. I read the 30.06/07 sign as saying "I'm an antigun liberal and I don't want your business", so screw them, I don't give them my money.

    liberal/conservative pro-gun/anti-gun, 30.06 I go somewhere else. Have not patronized a 30.06 place, ... ever.

It is OK to admit you or him did not know a 30.06 is not needed at a polling place. Everyone else reading this thread already knows it.

And it's OK that you didn't answer the wanger question, proffered in the same disingenuous spirit as your question. We all know that answer.

    That is juvenile.

No, it's apropos. It's a clearly marked "please don't shop here" sign for those carrying weapons.

Agreed. The ONLY exception is for events I attend on school campuses and/or other places forbidden by statute, not by owner choice. It's why I carry the "no gun, no $$$" cards.

Oh my goodness. There you've done it. My feelings are hurt. :)

Actually, years ago there was an electronics store in Ft Worth that had a 30.06 sign posted. A few times I couldn't find what I needed and had to bite the bullet and go to that store. It was interesting that the owner/manager probably saw the sign was costing them gun owner's business because the last time (way back) I had to go to the store the sign was gone.
I haven't seen any sign in years.

I hope I never have to go there. I wonder what Luke thinks about a hospital named after him that sucks so stupidly hard.
They have policies on carrying a firearm that suck. OTOH, the quality of care at that hospital is, overall, quite good. Heck, Denton Cooley still scoots around the place in his motorized wheelchair.

This is one of those cases where I'm willing to patronize an institution that does not support my 2nd Amendment rights. I don't like it but, frankly, finding a major hospital that allows concealed carry is next to impossible.

Also, note that they only prohibit carry in the main hospital. They have any number of outlying clinics and professional buildings where the signage is incorrect. I believe this must be deliberate since they know, as evidenced by the way the hospital is posted, how to post correct signage. For a major hospital, that's as close to "meeting me in the middle" as I'm going to find.

So, where else has anyone seen 30.07 postings? At those locations, did they have a sign on or next to every door?

It's even better than that. 30.06 signs are not even required to be at entrances. They only need to be displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly viable to the public...whatever you interpret that to mean. No one ever said common sense was involved...this is law we are talking about.
I saw this on Marbach when I used to donate plasma. ...the Planned Parenthood office next door had a 30.06 sign that was posted in the bottom corner of the last window in their office...you only saw it if you were using the plasma centers door...the entrance for PP was at the end of the bldg some 75 feet away

Edited: FYI, the language on the 30.06 sign posted by Winchster is technically correct only from Jan 1.

Don't recall exactly how HB910 was finally worded, but I would have to say the addition of the superfluous captions?
