OK. I'll bring some for sampling and some for taking home if you like it. My candied jalapeños, too.

I'm interested in trying it, but I'm not a big hot sauce guy. I have a bottle of sriracha that has dropped 1/2 inch in the last 2 months.

Blasphemy! I practically drink that stuff. Once I run out (I bought 12 bottles during "the craze" of them shutting down) I plan to learn on how to make that, too. I don't buy store hot sauce anymore now, but I still have months worth of hot sauce in 7 or 8 different flavors. I like it spicy, though, and most store bought stuff isn't "flavorful" enough for me anymore.
