I emailed Hill Country Ammo back in November of last year about a transfer and never received a response.
That place is WAY too close to the new Dairy Queen...AND the guy's name is HUNTER ! Perfect for a gun shop!
Check for the funky hours, though...Mon-Wed by appointment only, limited hours otherwise. Interesting!
CTGW is cheap, especially if you have a CHL and also Texas Law Shield (not required, just another discount). I don't know if it's per-item or per-form.
I cannot get them to call me back either. I am looking for someone who will transfer 3 stripped lowers on one form for a decent price.
Their website is stating $20 now. https://www.saddlerockarmory.com/ffl-transfersSmall new gun shop just opened on 620 west of Round Rock - $15 FFL transfer fee:

I believe it's $25 with CHL and $30 without, a $10 increase on both.FYI... Central Texas Gun Works upped their price to $25, or $20 if you have a CHL. I'll be looking for a new place.
Called him today. They have expanded their hours significantly. Talked to Hunter. They will do 3 transfers on the same sheet for $20 total. They'll fill out the whole page of 5 for another $10. Think I just found my new Austin FFL.
Agreed.Nice folks at Guns Plus.
