if anyone was wondering, when DPS says "mailed" it probably isn't same day shipping.

Part of me was hoping DPS lagged with their status updates.

Do these come from Austin? Maybe tomorrow....

Mine showed up on Saturday. The final piece of the puzzle, CHL-100, was submitted on Jan 21st, plastic in hand March 25th. I wonder if the area you are submitting from might have an effect on the time it takes to process, in any case I am quite happy and although I was originally intending on mostly carrying my 1911 I love this little Kimber Micro 9 so much it's all I carry so far:

Updated as approved print pending on 3/21. Updated as mailed on 3/23. Arrived 3/25.

I just submitted all my documents today. Status hasn't updated yet. You only need to submit a CHL-100 and your born out of the country documents AKA green card, if you're not a citizen right?

Submitted everything on the 7th. Had to call because of a letter I received stating they didn't have my fingerprints on the 11th. The lady on the phone told me I had been approved and it was at the printer received it in the mail on the 16th.

That's a heck of a lot better than the 89 days it took in Colorado

I waited longer than I had intended. My license expires on 9/30.
I applied for a renewal as a Veteran last Saturday (9/2/2017). Total cost was $27 and change.
It will be interesting to see if my LTC arrives in time. I'm thinking there will be a delay if many people waited for the new price schedule to go into effect.

More than likely if you can buy a gun from a FFL, you will get your LTC.
