If you ever run across Cava Antigua reposado, give it a try. Only place ive found it is Cozumel and one little shop in Acuna. That or order it. Looks like it has came down pretty good in price! May have to order a bottle. I dont like their anjeo (or any anjeo that I have ever tried).Jose Cuervo Familia Reserva. More than your $85 bottle, but the best I've had. And, they come in a cool box.
Converted 41 pieces of .223 to 300 blk. Cut, sized, trimmed, deburred and reamed the primer pockets. The jig from www.squirreldaddy.com (ordered through ebay) makes the cutting process go much quicker and easier!!!
Just remember to set the depth stop before cutting!!! I cut into the jig slightly and if the depth stop would have been set much deeper, there is a good posibility that I could have cut my brand new jig in half!!! You can see the nick in the jig and the depth stop screw in the third pic. View attachment 132120 View attachment 132121 View attachment 132122

Just watched a video on the WCT. Looks like it spaces off the shoulder and the guy in the video was havimg issues with the shoulders not being exactly the same. Basically getting lengths that varied by 0.02". Not a biggie for most calibers, but for precision work, that may not cut it (no pun intended). I may have to order one for my 300 blk! May not be exact, but it sure seemed quick! And only the finest barrel aged Single malt non-gmo grassfed organic smokeless powder?
Haha. I enjoy the 6.5CM memes...
Anyways, I just was turned on to the world's cheapest trimmer. Anyone ever heard of them? It was like $25 or so. A customer at work told me about them. Says they're cheap but they work just like the world's greatest trimmer. I figure for 1/4 of the cost I can at least give it a try. I have blown $25 on worse.

Well, for $23.50 it's worth a shot. I size all my brass so theoretically the shoulders should all be the same.Just watched a video on the WCT. I agree. I dont worry about crazy precision on pistol, .223/5.56, 300 blk, or 30 carbine anyway. Now my bolt action rifles are a different story.Well, for $23.50 it's worth a shot. I size all my brass so theoretically the shoulders should all be the same.

Finally got it. That seating pin assembly apparently has to be kept Uber-clean. Some carb cleaner spray did the trick.
Thanks!
I use a set of mechanics gloves to hold them while reaming the primer pocket. Works pretty good to keep a grip and save the fingers.Reaming primer pockets on some 223 brass tonight. I can usually only do a handful before the case mouths start hurting my hand. Tonight I grabbed a 3/8 drive 1/2" socket and held it in my hands to help cup the brass and keep it from slicing me up. I got through a ton more this way. Gonna have to find something a little better though. The short wall is a little too short to hold comfortable and the deep wall s too deep to get a grip on the case and keep it from spinning. Maybe I'll go buy an extra 1/2" deep wall and just cut a half inch off the length. I'll figure something out though.
Check out this guy I found in the mix. Looks like someone went a little happy on the reaming.
