The attitudes of the people defending this store are enough to keep me from going in there. The attitude of the store itself in the review responses is just icing on the cake.
I agree wholeheartedly. The attitudes of the people defending this store are enough to keep me from going in there. The attitude of the store itself in the review responses is just icing on the cake.
I wholeheartedly recommend you to go visit this store. Just make sure you question his wife about anything, and you'll find yourself yelled at and thrown out. That's his specialty, and if you're into that, that's the place for you.
Your ax has been ground. Get over it.
Aren’t you cute and edgy? You really need to stop crying like a little bitch and get over it dude!!
I have seen better customer service at pawn shops, where customers would yell and scream at them for not taking their junk as loan collateral, and yet the staff would still remain calm.
I have also seen pawn shop employees shred my receipts or documents with personal information before I leave the store. Compare to this gun store owner who claims to know who I am weeks after I left without completing a FFL transaction. How does he know who I am? Did he memorize my name, or keep my documents in a file somewhere - for what purpose? Even if he didn't know who I was, why publicly state that on the internet? Was that a threat of some kind?
How do you explain his post accusing me of being rude, cold, and unprofessional, accusing me of trying to get him to do something against the law (a lie), as well as claiming to know who I am despite no transaction - how do you explain that as reasonable and "good customer service"?
It's his words you have to look at, not mine.
I don't really understand this concept of defending a business. Would he do the same for you? Are you a personal friend of the owner? Or did he just take your money in exchange for some merchandise? If you didn't give him money, what would he have to do with you? Would he give you the time of day otherwise?
I will say Scott Burris of Lone Star Tactical Supply in Cypress exemplifies good customer service. A firearms enthusiast and competition shooter, he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to guns including NFA. He specializes in LE sales and weapons. I've never seen him in a bad mood. And his FFL fee is $15 (if buyer is a permit holder). Ship out cost are the same as the guy who kicked me out.
Thank you for the very useful additional data.I have been to this store twice.
I wanted to add it earlier , but didn't have the time to sit down and post it.Thank you for the very useful additional data.
Well, that's always a mistake.I went down to Carter Country
Agreed, I research myself and at times will research months in advance of having the money to buy.I wanted to add it earlier , but didn't have the time to sit down and post it.
I think it is odd though how some stores act towards customers.
When I first got back into guns , and had already purchased my first one , I went down to Carter Country on Tresswick ( sp?).
Shot for a bit , then went inside to look around , every single one behind the counter acted like I was bothering them with any question I had. Went back 3-4 more times and it was always the same. Girls that ran the range check in where always polite and nice , but damn everyone else just rude . I think I have been in there once in the last year , looking for misc. parts and accessories.
Same attitude. Unreal.
I don't know about you guys , but when I'm going to purchase another firearm, I research it , and then want to feel it in my hand .
I don't always just have 500- 1500 bucks in my pocket to just run right out and buy. So if it bothers you for me to ask questions and want to hold a gun or two , then I wont buy from you.
These guys act like we are shopping for 65 dollar shoes .
Agreed, I research myself and at times will research months in advance of having the money to buy.
When I was younger I had many disappointments from impulse buys.Heh, I do the same...and that scares me.....isn't that what we have accused women of doing forever?? Shopping, always shopping!!
I love buying at Primary arms.ML, good to see you posting.
I've bought 2 guns recently and both places had knowledgeable, good folk working the counters.
Cabelas in League City and Primary Arms.
Primary Arms has a retail store front off the belt way???I love buying at Primary arms.
Haven't purchased a gun from them yet , however have built a few through them and bought a bunch of my pistol parts and accessories from them. I work down in Freeport every now and again, and always try to stop in and order/ pick up on the way home.
