Ozzman, I do it all in stages. 223: ~500 at a time in each step.

anyone heard from rmantoo lately? He was a solid 1050 supporter! He took a troop to the range every week. Almost 1000 rounds 223 per outing. Did I say a bunch of shooters?

    My two shooting buddies have a 550 + a 650 w/case & bullet feeder each 650. One was a competitive shooter.

There are a lot for sale used; still with warranty but a lower cost. Also seen some 1050s, too.

Yeah. It’s real easy to get to $4K buying a 1050 setup.

Absolutely, I had already priced all of that out before even posting here. The simple fact is buy now cry now, because in 10 years I'll have loaded 100k rounds and saved 5 times what that setup cost just in 223 alone.

Just wanted to make sure there were no other options that had the same capability to completely be automated.

The only use I’ve actually heard of is folks decapping brass in front of the tv.

That's pretty much the only thing I use mine for.

I did try it out for sizing 9mm cases, and it worked fine, but have better options for that.

I don't know about that. But, we'll see soon enough.

Watch your fingers with this press, very easy to whack one of them if not careful...

Don’t forget to automate as much of your case prep as possible. Cases are the single largest cost unless you re-use them.

Just learns I may have 15 rounds I hand loaded that I ruined the brass on trying to get the crimp part of the seating die set right
