While I agree the sarcasm comment was probably covering down on a stupid statement, I’ve listened to the full statement 45 made more than a few times.

At no point did he say anything other than he’s not an MD but it would be worth investigating if there were a way to kill an infection in the lungs, which is one of several ways the virus attacks the body.

So far, studies submitted for peer review indicate several different mechanisms can go out of whack. One is a cytokine storm that we overloads the immune response. Another is a unique pneumonia that results in extremely low O2 saturation (on the order of 50% pulse ox levels) that presents as late stage pneumonia. A third study indicates cardiomyopathy.

What all that means is that the virus has a large toolbox it can go to to keep itself alive in the body. But, for some reason, certain demographics are much less susceptible than others for these various attacks. Another apparently permanents dermatologically on the feet.

The only thing I will say is that so much is not known about this virus and the various ways it attacks the body is that anything (other than most otherwise healthy people will respond with a mild to moderate case) taken as definitive should be questioned.

I just can't understand their logic.

There is none, Jimmy. Politicians are making societal decisions, not medical certainties.

One of my closest friends is the Chief of Pediatric Nursing for Colorado’s largest hospital system. As recently as Tuesday night, she’s on record as saying the medical community doesn’t fully understand why children, generally, don’t seem to affected as severely as adults. Sure, there are pediatric deaths associated with the disease, but demographically its a blip in the radar compared to other groups.

I am aware of this. That was my feeble attempt at intelligence, wit or sarcasm.
I just can't understand their logic. Rights of others don't seem to matter. Why those of kids? I understand that they have less to fear from covid but they can carry it and they touch everything they can spreading it to others. If they are going to screw everyone, then srcew everyone.
Don't get me wrong. I love kids. More so than I like most adults. I have yet to turn down a hug even if it kills me.
They need to get on with it or over it.
    Getting past tiresome.
    Those who know you, understood.

And that is basically what I was referring to. That and the ones that are supposed to be clear headed and make calm logical decisions are the ones that seem to be paniced the worst and making the most idiotic decisions.

If you’re dumb enough to ingest liquid bleach, then no problem.

When did basic thinking skills evade the human species?

I dont know how many retard inmates drank bleach when they popped up on the random UA list. Probably hundreds.

Proof you never catch the smart ones.

ETA, not much happens from a little bleach. Some got sick and all still pissed dirty. Interestingly they were all gang members from a specific group of gangs. I won't say more than that cause some folks would add more meaning to it than I intended.
