Someone killed a dep sheriff yesterday, somewhere, when he showed up to holler about masks not being worn. I'll look for the story.


ETA it was a security guard in Michigan at a dollar store, not police officer.

MI gov decrees a mask must be worn in enclosed spaces. Guard tells woman her daughter needs one. She goes off, spits on him and is kicked out. Two others return and executed the security guard.

Fraking trash. The family of trash who killed a guy doing his job.

Sad, but it’s not a private company’s job to enforce political orders which, by definition, are not law.

This does not excuse the criminal behavior, but this death hangs on the governors head and the company’s head just as much as it does the criminals.

Don’t need an account; the comments are overwhelmingly against the Sheriff’s action. Several have mentioned contacting DOJ and FBI to take Barr up on his word.

Ok, last post is wonky. I tried to post a couple screen shots and it uploaded 5 of the same one. I tried to edit it by deleting them all and re-uploading them. I checked back and it had all the new ones and all the old ones.

I gave up on the internet. If a mod wants to clean it up so be it, nuke this post if you want to also. Or, read all the posts on the Facebook and let it soak in.

@Hoji , I am mad now. Not at the internet, but at some of my countrymen. I am going to sleep on it. I just finished the Waco series on Netflix. I will move to that thread tomorrow. Waco was started as everybody knew what was going on but no 'legal' reason for prosecution, i.e. no evidence without a search warrant. Ruby Ridge was an attempt to 'capture' some labelled as 'militants'. 'Good' side has to do something to get the 'ball' rolling. More similar incidents have happened.
Trump attacks are similar tactics.
