I went the other week & had to show ID & GET FINGER PRINTED just to scrap 100lbs for $6.

In Houston it's not uncommon for them to hook chains to the #4 wire & pull it from a new dried in house.Nothing new. In '72 some Engine Men from the Grampus were caught selling brass bearings from a rebuild. The FBI came to their boat and arrested them. Much scrap is stolen.
