Is 30-30 that far up there now? I managed to get a decent stock of it over the past couple of months with a bit of patience. Maybe I don't need it that bad lol.

Stopped in to Academy this morning. Got there a few minutes before 9am. Line of about 80 people. They had some bulk boxes of 223 and 380, plus some Win XM855, Tula 223/7.62x39. I picked up 3 boxes of Hornday lever revolution 45-70 325gr ($39.99/box) for a fellow member. Was talking to guy in line buying some 12ga, 3" 00 steel shot for goose and he just dropped $250.00 online for 4 boxes of 30-30. This is absolutely nuts!

This wouldn't be happening if people were strapped for cash...

There's a lot of money out there!

What gets me is no one and I MEAN NO ONE has mentioned 38 Special or .357 Magnum. Looks like the old American standard calibers have dried up completely. I havewn't been aboe to find it anywhere except for one range in South Houston and then some Armscor 100 round boxed at a LGS. I have loaded up on bullets (700 125 gr XTP), new cartridge cases (400), & powder (2 lbs) to start reloading but I only have 600 primers (and 200 of those are Federal match primers). That will keep the Snubbie going for a few months but if I can't find small pistol primers soon (I am NOT paying 50¢ a primer) then the snubbie is down too.

P>.S. I was half joking about the IRS agent. I wouldn't wish that kind of grief on anyone, even POS Neckbeards. Hey I wonder. do we call female neck beards saggy boobs?

    Gunz are icky.
I saw some .38Special(Federal red box w/130grn FMJ) at the Academy in Pearland just a few days ago.
They had about 20 or so boxes of it. I didn't buy any as my three went to another caliber.
IIRC, it was $29 a box.
    So they are getting some.
