As you all may know I am a believer in the vaccines, don't feel like Bill Gates is in my system or that this is a government conspiracy. But I will tell you my experience with the Moderna vaccine and you can draw your own conclusions.
Beginning of January I got shot #1, over the next three weeks I had an enlarging red rash that got to about 10 inches, slight pain, slight itching. Sent a picture to my doctor and asked if he felt that I should get the second shot and he said yes. Took almost a full month for the rash to go. Got the second shot about 72 hours ago and within a few hours I was ill, severe chills, sweating profusely, headache, alternating freezing and burning up. Fully clothed under an electric blanket, wife had to change the sheets twice because of sweating. I have had really bad cases of the flu and this compared with those really bad cases. Just now starting to feel better. Have a rash in the right arm now about 4 inches, slight sore.
My wife got shot number one with absolutely no problem, no rash, not sore. She gets second shot this week.
Conclusion, if you got first shot and got a rash be aware that you may really get sick with second shot. Not a scientific study but a series of one. Would I do it again, yes. Would I get a booster, maybe wait and get another brand of vaccine.
This is not meant to dissuade anyone from the vaccine as I believe that the only way we will get back to normal (whatever that is) is with a vaccine. Just my experience. I believe the presence of the rash after the first vaccine foretold trouble with the second vaccine. On the other hand, it is my experience that the more severe the reaction, the better the immunity. We shall see. Please do not flame me for being a vaccine proponent. I had friends that are gone with this disease. I don't wish to join them, yet.

You do realize there is exactly zero trial or other data to support what you are suggesting, correct?

Additionally, the two vaccines aren’t copy cats of each other and aren’t dosed similarly. Pfizer is 2x 30 mcg doses while Moderna is 2x 100mcg

The symptoms you describe are a documented reactive side-effect in a small number (3.8% of 8k patient population) of Pfizer recipients. It’s unknown yet why Pfizer is generating this reaction while Moderna is not.

Finally, it’s highly unlikely due to limited supply that anyone today can pick or choose which brand they will get for the series, much less demand to switch brands during the series.

First, I said this is a series of one. Second, this was Moderna vaccine. As far as boosters, if and when that time develops I will probably try something else besides the Moderna vaccine. That will probably be in a year or so.
I reported this for informational purposes only, my reaction to the Moderna vaccine. Thank you for the lecture about vaccines. Now tell us if you have any problems when you get vaccinated.

You should share your experience with Moderna and FDA, seeing as how there is no data on record to suggest the Moderna vaccine can have a reactionary side-effect.

    That would be more effective.
Actually, I do provide this data to the CDC and have done so on a weekly basis. It is through the VSafe program.

Should I have the CDC send you a memo of my report? Then you will have the data.

I do and, don't we all?

His show is great EXCEPT for the pure twang bump music. :(
Yup... music lead ins are waaaayyyy too long at times. He knows folks don't like it and he does it on purpose - because he can. And because of that he becomes one of the folks he's wailin' on. I still listen to him from time to time. But... found out I can pick up 560am outta Beaumont in the mornings and listen to the Glenn Beck show which I like much more than MB.

I was going to go ride on my day off this week. Instead I'm hanging at the house because my gf got her 2nd covid vaccine shot yesterday. She says her hair even hurts. She's been in bed all day.

Go to v-safe and report it. It is really important for the cdc to know about complications.
