If you had just worn a COVID blocking mask!Drove the buggy into Ben Wheeler to watch the fireworks this evening. A windshield is a must have, I’m still picking bugs out of my teeth.
End of the thread..Polaris.
Now you tell me....End of the thread..
They are the best.
I got a 500 EFI in 2012
You grease them occasionally and change the oil and filters once a year
They just run great and glide over rough terrain at whatever speed you want
I was curious about driving it to town, since they aren’t legal here, under normal circumstances, but the town was full of them. No issues. You can register a UTV in Montana where they are street legal and drive them in Texas. Completely legal. Friend of mine did it and drives around San Antonio.
I think you have to stay off interstates but that's about it.

They can be made legal in Texas if the owner has clear title. No, I don't know what that has to do with it. On another forum, 2Cool Fishing, there's a long thread about how one person made his street legal, with many pictures. He explains it well.
Seriously, the tires on these things do not do well on roads. They are off road machines.
on county roads that aren’t suitable for cars. I met one vehicle on the way there. It was a Kawasaki Mule.
Don't be a Karen
Out in rural areas everyone drives their buggies on the road & the cops don't mess with us. Also not too many cops around the small towns.
Unless they are acting stupid like some have around here back a few years ago. Like racing balls to the wall, tearing up people's pastures, and riding on privately owned land without permission.
I made several complaints back then, and the DPS impounded three ATV's and issued a butt load of tickets.
The new neighbors next door, they are fixing to find this out pretty soon!
I think common sense is the key, and that really seems to be the prevailing rule around here. Rotor brings a valid point, the tires on the buggies are made for pavement, but these county roads barely qualify as pavement.
