I haven't seen whether it was one shot fired or two. Difficult to shoot two people with one projectile. Anyone know, or have a link?

And Officer Kimberly Potter who accidentally used her firearm instead of her taser...

In that situation some charge is legally (I say legally, because I'm not sure how morally it is) still merited - she *is* a trained professional and her negligence caused harm to another. It would've been different had she *intentionally* shot him - because from what I saw, she probably would've been justified in shooting, not just tazing because he was fighting with officers in the door of his car, jumped in and had the car in gear - he could've drug those officers and run them over. There was a controversial police shooting years ago in Portland, Oregon with similar circumstances. The "victim" was a black female, she was shot and killed by a white male cop she was dragging with her car. The shoot was ruled justified, even in lefty loony Portland. The prosecutor could get her on negligent homicide because it was clear she didn't *intend* to use deadly force, and thought she was using her tazer, not her Glock.

The Potter incident shows why police started carrying the tazer cross draw, or accessible with the non-dominant hand so you don't confuse the zappy zapp with the blasty-blast. Potter wasn't the first cop who accidentally shot a suspect when they intended to go to tazer town.

Rittenhouse had clear cut self defense from a mob that had taken shots at him, was charging him and intent on killing him.

Neither person deserves to spend their life behind bars.

Lot of force behind a primer, when I was a a prisoner of a Colorado winter I cast some .38 wad cutters from hot melt glue.

From a 4" revolver penetrated one side of two cardboard boxes, one inside the other, from 25' - 30'
Did the primers back out? Mine did on my 44 mag wax bullet loads powered by a primer only. I had to drill out the flash holes in the cases so they were a lot bigger to keep the primers from backing out. Of course those cases aren't good for anything else anymore. Mine were used for ripping holes in beer cans from across the room.
