Hey I’d like some of y’all’s input I won a SA TRP on gb I’ve never shot one. Having owned 2 LW Operator’s they were great but is the trp that much better?
Not sure if this has been posted here but I didn't flip thru all 35 pages. Attached is a Jim Hoag ultra longslide (11') made from 2 barrels & slides. I've actually shot the thing. He said the hardest thing was to get a proper spring for the weight of the barrel. I was fortunate to live close enough to his shop and he was my go-to smith for anything. RIP Jim.
Haha I’d be willing to make a fair trade on it.Junk.
Send to Moonpie for proper disposal.
is this an 80% ? I hope you document the build, this will be a great thread to share.
Gaah! @OIF2 , where you been with that goodness!!! We need some range time.Colt 1911A1...one of the WW II re-issues from 20 years ago. I put an old WW1 1911 long trigger on for comfort. A 1911A1 and some 230 grain hardball ammo... basic Colt goodness.

Just wait. He might be carrying a terrible swift sword, but on his hip will be a 1911 and the golden girdle around His paps will be full of Wilson Combat replacement magazines. After being gone for several months, I just wanted to say this thread title still makes me giggle every time I see it.
