Baldwin said he pulled back the hammer and when he let go the gun fired. He said he never pulled the trigger, we all know if the trigger is pulled back while cocking the hammer and letting go what will happen.

I am shocked he was charged at all............

Baldwin should be charged, a felony charge, for the act of being a supreme colossal asshole about the whole incident.
His selfishness knew no boundaries, all he thought about was himself, only poor little Alex.

"He pulled the trigger then tried to deny it while hoping his fame would keep him from facing the consequences of his actions."

Yes, and continues to get away with it due to his 'leftist' fame...hey, lefty's gotta stick together or those 'gun nuts' will take over...

Well, tie me up and call me Loretta! I cannot believe that the spineless New Mexico weenies did anything more than issuing a citation. Of course, this is probably just a front to have a quickie trial and find him innocent but, come on, after way more than a year of "investigation' this whole thing reeks of excrement; but, then again, so does Baldwin.

Ridiculous asstdir David Halls who handed Baldwin the gun and said it was unloaded ("Cold Gun") evaded charges by signing a water-downed plea deal, yet they charged the armorer?

Have they evidence of who actually loaded the firearm with live ammunition? Who brought live ammunition to the set?

No doubt that the bimbo armorer will take the fall for this. Baldwin's charges are set up so that he can be found not guilty and the issue can be put to bed for him while the girl will pay the price for her incompetence even though she did not pull the trigger. One more Leftist cover for a douche bag

...which is not how single action revolvers work. At all. If you pull back the hammer and let go, it won't fall on the firing pin. It'll either cock or half-cock. That's it. The only way to drop the hammer and fire the pistol is to either be pulling the trigger when you let go of the hammer, or to pull the trigger after it's cocked.

    Executive Summary:

Baldwin is mistaken or outright lying.

The gun used in the fatal shooting on the "Rust" movie set could not have been fired without pulling the trigger, according to an FBI forensic report obtained Friday by ABC News.

Accidental discharge testing determined that the firearm used in the shooting -- a .45 Colt (.45 Long Colt) caliber F.lli Pietta single-action revolver -- could not have fired without the trigger being pulled, the FBI report shows.

I guess I didn't express myself, I was thinking he was holding the trigger back while cocking the hammer. Wouldn't it fire then?
