I respect men who stay in the fight.I liked the nice views and running on the beach too when I spent time on the coast. You know what I value more? Self respect.
Texas FTW.
I tried to describe what I do for a living but the admin edited my post, removing that.Being half way between L.A. and San Francisco, you're kinda between a rock and a hard place when it comes to 2A. What kind of gun trust do you have there?
I prefer .45acp but any ammo will do if you will do.Welcome. I hope you like .30 super carry.
California had open carry before Texas had open carry..

Aah, that's what you were alluding to. Well heck, stick around anyway. It should be at least as interesting as the calguns sigs.I tried to describe what I do for a living but the admin edited my post, removing that.
I guess they consider that to be advertising.

Not personally but I've known of him for years and his name came up on a zoom meeting I had a couple days ago with a San Antonio firm I deal with.Probably was. Get over or it or pay to play.
Did you know Sean Cody?
I'm glad to hear that you support and defend the 2nd Amendment. Not personally but I've known of him for years and his name came up on a zoom meeting I had a couple days ago with a San Antonio firm I deal with.
I did NFA trusts for a time, working first with David Goldman of Florida and then with WealthCounsel's gundocx platform, before I realized that guns should not (generally) be held in trust in CA. For three years I warned about that, but many colleagues continued to put guns in trusts.
Then in 2019 Sacradimento actually did something good for a change and fixed the issues I was concerned about, or most of them.
But I haven't done NFA trusts in quite awhile as they don't make sense anymore (in CA), due to 41F and other issues. And cozying up to the ATF was never my idea of a smart estate plan.
What I do is different. That's about all I can say on that.
Proof? Not knocking or denying your statement, just more than a bit surprised for obvious reasons.California had open carry before Texas had open carry.

What I know (or think I know) of TX is this:Proof? Not knocking or denying your statement, just more than a bit surprised for obvious reasons.
Welcome to the asylum.
We are just south a bit from there. My dad was a drill sergeant at Fort Ord during Korean War. He was born in Cross Plains TX, where his dad was CEO of the local bank when it reorganized as Texas Heritage Bank. My grandfather prevented a run on that bank, got it through the Great Depression without depositors losing anything. And my grandma sang "Deep in the Heart", owned oil wells, and danced once with Howard Hughes. So I do have some Texas roots!Welcome to the forum, sir! I've been to California only once for basic and A.I.T. at Fort Ord (many, many years ago). Basic wasn't all that bad because of the wonderful weather we had .
Thanks for setting me straight on that!During Reconstruction the Yankee carpetbaggers did not want Texans to carry. Had nothing to do with race. You must remember we had government full of carpet bagging Yankees including the governor. In my humble opinion of course.
