I wonder how much money changed hands.

Still, he'll have that hanging over his head and hopefully enough of the public will remember he's a murderer for his career to take a good hit.

Can’t nothing hang over your head when you don’t accept responsibility for it. Baldwin has repeatedly said it wasn’t his fault and has gone out of his way to blame it on the hired help.

All he cares about is making money and since the husband of the lady he killed went right back to work for Baldwin on Rustic, you can guess how much the public cares about this.

His next movie is still in post-production (as of this week in overall color correction, a step typically at the end of post) and scheduled to premiere in approximately November.

Turns out the pistol that killed the film lady had been modified with a different trigger which made it prone to firing without having the trigger pulled!

That's odd, since the FBI tested the pistol and said they couldn't get it to fire without the trigger being pulled without actually breaking the pistol...a state it wasn't in when she was killed. Single action pistols just don't do that unless they have serious damage done to them.

"According to the FBI report, the gun in question "could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger" while the hammer was cocked at the one-fourth and half positions.

The ballistic analysis also found that the weapon "could not be made to fire without a pull of the trigger while the working internal components were intact and functional" when it was fully cocked."

I bet a lot of money went into someone's pockets. And a lot more money will go to the family of the deceased.
FWIW, I would not label him a "murderer". Some states require premeditation, some only intent. He may be a killer but nobody was able to prove he killed intentionally or with premeditation.
I am not kissing is azz. Just pointing out linguistic and lawful differences.

I was of that opinion too...before he put so much effort into lying about what happened (including insisting a single action revolver performed a physically impossible function...repeatedly...) and blame shifting. That took him from "idiot whose stupidity killed someone" to "evil motherfucker who will not own up to having killed someone"...and therefore to my mind he is no better than a premeditated murderer.
