A small frame with a rimfire, .223, 6.5G, and short 300BO and .458S uppers and a large frame with .308 and 6.5CM uppers will be what I eventually narrow down to.…,6.5 Grendel...
The projectile commonality between 6.5G and CM is worth it to me.

I’ll have one of each, please.thats incorrect
this is circa 1965 and civilian market AR15s have been on the market since 1963 at that point.

Not beyond the realm of possibility, but probably not in my lifetime...Ar's are a fad, flintlocks are the wave of the future!
Sure… if you reload. The world is your playground. Nobody has really reinvented the wheel. BC’s are getting better with the new cartridges. But after seeing my buddy ring steel at 1980yds with a .308, just reassured my thoughts on marketing hype.
Yes and no! Same bullet at velocities above a certain speed will yield only so much, but does degrade as it slows...............so, yes and no.But BCs aren’t driven by cartridges, except on rare occasion with higher velocity. BC comes from bullet design.

According to some reports, in 2026 as much as 90% of the internet could be AI generated. I may have to trash my computer and phone.ChatGPT=Skynet…
Glorified sub gun round? You seemed to have confused 5.56 with 7.62x39The AR is a good platform. But it's been hampered by a glorified subgun round for far too long. Recent improvements in calibers have breathed new life into the AR. Too bad ARs in the useful calibers aren't as affordable as the subgun one....

And drops like a ton of bricks at 300 yards. And what about barriers like level III plates? You seem to have confused 5.56 with a rifle round. At least 7.62 can defeat barriers....
I understand what you are saying. But the 6.5cm, 6.5prc, 7mmprc and 300prc cartridges all utilize high BC bullets. When you tell me you are using a 300prc and not a 300win, that implies that you wanted a better BC. I think we could say that the cartridge is riding on the coattails of the ELD bullets. But BCs aren’t driven by cartridges, except on rare occasion with higher velocity. BC comes from bullet design.

if you are worried about AI, you clearly dont know enough about AI to combat it.According to some reports, in 2026 as much as 90% of the internet could be AI generated. I may have to trash my computer and phone.
I'm actually more afraid of those that won't believe it's AI.if you are worried about AI, you clearly dont know enough about AI to combat it.
