Yeah me and the wife are different in that regard.

I have a trait that’s really not good at all…but I can literally write people off with the snap of my fingers, and never even think about them again.

I’ve likely done it too many times…mostly justified, at least in the moment, but that spirit of forgiveness can be lost on me

I have the same trait, if you have wronged me, but especially if you've wronged my parents or my niece I can literally forget you are a human being with a snap of my fingers.

MIL/FIL are taking him to movies, then dropping him off at DFW by 3pm...for an 8pm flight LMAO

When I was a little kid living in Fort Lauderdale, all the metro busses advertised airfare, food, lodging for 3 days from Fort Lauderdale to Havana...$99.00.

These was pre-castro days...

The 'mafia' owned Havana, Bautista was in power and Havana was a wild and crazy place...ah, the glory days before it all went to shit...

I remember those halcyon days well...

B/C of business connections, we got a bunch of refugee Families from La Habana in our small-town neighborhood.

Those in the late 1950’s were REAL “refugees” !

I had to replace an old downstairs R410A HVAC unit when we did the garage conversion.

It basically ran 24/7 and could barely maintain 80 degrees inside, and that was before adding square footage.

But the $800 summertime powerbills were eating me alive.

New unit is a 20 seer heat pump unit, variable speed etc. And we put a damper in it so the garage conversion could have its own thermostat.

We also re-insulated, and added soffit vents, to the entire house.

Looking at my power bills compared to last year, I’m using 40% less power to maintain 10-degrees lower temps despite adding 700 square feet of living space.

I’m impressed

This story is courtesy of Mrs Pronstar, I wasn’t actually there.

The boys love the “Basket of Fries” from McDonald’s…they’ve gotta be in the basket, because kids. They’re like little irrational drunk people.

They head over to McD’s. MIL is driving, Mrs Pronstar is in third row of the suburban with the boys.

They pull up to order, wife’s tells her mom to order a basket of fries.

MIL orders “large fries”.
Wife corrects her “no, mom, basket of fries”

MIL: that’s what I said
Wife: no, you said large fries

MIL back to ordering: extra large fries, did you get that? Extra large!
Wife: BASKET OF FRIES, mom, Basket!

MIL: Stop yelling at me! I got the fries!

Words were exchanged. Wife finally gets it thru her head to literally say fucking basket.

So what y’all been doing the last few weeks?

Ask for unsalted. They make a new batch. You add the salt and maybe even black pepper to taste. Fresh fried, every time. The burgers, that's another story.
