Would love to take a trackhawk for a spin.I'll take my own personal experience over YouTube, but that's fine.
On the subject of fast SUVs, if you ever have a chance to ride in a Jeep Trackhawk around a track, take it.

In the mid 90's a buddy of mine drag raced the top street legal category. He had a 351 Windsor(iirc) in a fox body coupe. He won one year in Houston and made the cover of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords. Iirc that was a 9 second car. Scared the crap outta me.I strongly disagree. Make an educated guess on how many people / people who drive, who have been is a <3 second 0-60 car. I'd bet it is very few. I get the beauty of the older stuff - I've had a 911 with dual triple downbarrell Webers on them, and I'm a 1911 guy. The new stuff can smoke the old stuff - other than in a museum.
Some of them are AWD so they get pretty good traction off the line. All these impressive acceleration numbers are from a fast rolling start. Otherwise the vehicle would spend so much time standing still and burning up the tires that the numbers would not be impressive. Too much power !
Not long...you will be pleased. When I was a teenager the 0-60 in less than 5 seconds meant something. Now as an old fart I couldn't care less. What matters is how long to charge the damn thing to get home with cruise control set to speed limit and with a working AC.
How long, from the time the battery is really low until say 80% charge? Assuming a high speed charger. The closest one from my house is over 20 miles away. My brother has one and loves it but he lives on the west coast where chargers are plentiful. Aside from the acceleration though what advantage does it have? Not long...you will be pleased.

If you have never ridden in a Tesla Model S PLaid at WOT, you are in for excitement. This car accelerates faster than any of the Corvettes I've ever owned. Even the modified. And too, so much technology in this car. Loaded with almost any feature you can imagine.
He would be driving almost 400 miles every day of the year. Taking a break every 60 miles and charging every 2nd, 3rd or 4th stop. It's seems he world be spending 8-12 hours/ day in the car everyday of the year for almost 8 years.130k miles/yr, taking a break every 60 miles?
You can't do that for anywhere near the money...Teslas are quick, but they are a one trick pony. All they have going for them is the 0-60 time, and it’s no different than other EV’s. If you want to have something that’s fast in a straight line then you can build something faster for cheaper that will not be boring to drive. If you want something fast around the track then you can also buy something that is faster for less. They are a quick commuter car, but let’s be honest, they are a luxury golf cart with an iPad.
Math says his story is bull shit, and with all the down time for repairs they say he had, it is piled higher and deeper. PhD bull shitHe would be driving almost 400 miles every day of the year. People do it all the time. You can't do that for anywhere near the money...

I don’t think that’s true. There’s a way to disconnect from that if your car connects to the mothership

I don’t want a car that tells me where to go.I mean I get it you guys hate change and progress.... you will find any excuse to say its bad.
You charge it at your house dumbass. if you have to drive more than 200 miles it tells you WHERE to charge it. To charge it from 5 to 80% takes less than 15 minutes.
95% of yall on this forum never drive more than 200 miles in a week much less in a day :-p Those of you that do have valid reasons, and I get it, but AGAIN... and **** I hate having to repeat shit.... for 99% of the general public these things are an amazing game changer. Combined with thorium nuclear energy we basically have fixed all the things people bitched about with ICE.
