We got rid of cable a while back. We used to watch a lot of Food Network and Discovery shows. We found they were all kid friendly. Now we are streaming using the free apps.
We have since gone through all the Beverly hillbillies and are now working our way through The Brady Bunch. I believe The Andy Griffith show is next up.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult for me to find something interesting to watch on the television, regardless of provider.

Between reruns, formulaic ‘reality’ shows, spin-offs and competitor of such, and just plain lack of new content, there’s just not much out there.

Ted Lasso, Clarkson’s Farm, Season 2, and Grand Tour, Season 5…whenever an episode trickles in…are the last shows I’ve found interesting.

Engine Masters and Road Kill are hit or miss, but at least offer a glimmer of hope. Street Outlaws has gotten so far from what it was about that I’ve about given up.

I’ll have to give True Detectives Season 4 a shot, I guess, but my hopes are low.

I was forced to subscribe to AppleTV so I can watch "Masters of the Air" because HBO sold it to them during covid. Apple is so f'n petty. I was able to download the streaming service on my Android TV but Apple will not allow it to be downloaded to Android phones.

My hate for Apple continues and I will cancel the subscription as soon as the miniseries is over. They confirmed my conviction that I will never own another Apple device again....ever.

Masters of the Air releases this Friday.

The wife and I just finished the second season of Reacher (Amazon Prime Video). IMO, season two was better than season one.

Watched 1883 - Annoying AF. Narrator is a petulant little girl (also a bit of a slut) that won't shut up.
Watched 1923 - Massive improvement over 1883 in plot/storyline/characters but once again some of the female leads are problematic. Tired of seeing the soft core "love porn" meant for female audiences.

Just re-watched The Leftovers. Saw it back in 2017 or 18 when I was living in Canada, eh. Since then, I forgot all about the show and most of my time living outside of the greatest country in the world, Texas.

Entertaining show. Guess it would be classified as Sci-Fi.

Catch "For All Mankind" before you discontinue it.

You know you can get a free 90-day trial of AppleTV from Bestbuy? Likely too for you to take advantage of it if you haven’t already.

Currently binging WHITE COLLAR.....may go to BURN NOTICE next. USA Network really had a good streak of programming back then....

Burn Notice was a good show. I really didn't realize what an amazing job Jeffrey Donovan did playing Michael Westen until an episode where his mother (played by Sharon Gless from "Cagney and Lacey") gets angry at him, shouts in his face and slaps him. And seeing that stoic, calm demeanor crumble enough to show the deep hurt on his face...it blew me away.
