I will not even trust the 6.7 until they have been on the road a few years.
I am now a guinea pig....traded my '08 F250 for a new '12 on Friday. Fingers crossed that I don't have the same problems I did with the 6.4L.

I have a friend that has one and so far he loves it. I would guess he is around the 20k mark now and no hiccups.I am now a guinea pig....traded my '08 F250 for a new '12 on Friday. Fingers crossed that I don't have the same problems I did with the 6.4L.
RUN AWAY get a DuraMax!
Bigger.Intent was to get opinions on the actual engines...not the politics behind their maker. I merely asked about the 6.4 because I didn't know if it was as big a p.o.s. as the 6.0 it replaced.
lmao.bigger.
They are good motors you ccan do a lot to them and they still keep up
yep my cummins 5.9 sure does run good without a bolt turned glad I got it.
I'd buy a 7.3 with 300k miles on it before I would buy a 6.4 with 100 miles on it. When they go down, there is nothing cheap about fixing one.
