well it opens at 9am. thats what time i'd like to go. chances are..i'll go at 9am. if u guys dont go till later, i'll just make a day of it. (pack a lunch/boombox maybe lol)

lol. went to the range this morning to test out the sights. they shoot a smiddddggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggge left. so i need to tap the rear sights to the right. correct? 1911 works just as great as ever too. i left after about an hour. there was some sort of LEO that was there gettin ready to shoot when i left. and then i saw another car LEO car pullup as i left. they open at 9am. man...when theres no traffic, its a BREEEEZE.

yeah I need to do a little work on my sights as well, pistol shot low and left, but I was wearing my sunglasses. I will go back out and try w/ clear ones to see if I get the same result b4 I change anything. But the groupings.... Like sex on a sunday.... Hot Damn..

Anybody got any .45 ball/target ammo they want to trade? I'd consider trading out some of my pricey stuff, maybe 1 to 2? I've got the Federal FMJ 230g, HST. I don't mind shooting it, but I wouldn't mind shooting cheaper stuff either.

you should try the academy on flores and military 100 packs of 40 yesterday. i got tula, wwb and monarch in 40s plenty. i can trade/sell you some if you dont find any.

not sure on the rifle. i wanted to actually. i have at least 2 boxes worth of 30-06 so i can sight mine in. but im horrid so...i'd most likely need someone to help me do that though. i DO have a pretty good sighting scope though. i'll bring my 1911. although i hope i can get rid of the horrid nailpolish on the rear sights before we go lol. not gonna lie...we'll have a 1911-off. one 1911 to rule them all. 1911>911.

btw...anyone seen 'Lock n Load with R. Lee Ermey '?

its a good show, and theres one that was really good, about pistols. and he has the 1911...and this guy shows him a 9mm and he moves his hands away in disgust like "ewww grosss...i almost got that 9mm on me.." i thought it was pretty funny. R. Lee Ermey is grand btw. maybe its just me.

Well it seems like almost all of us have a 1911, I have a slide conversion that shoots .22 if any of you wanna try it out with your setup.

I met him at the world premier of the Texas chainsaw massacre near austin, great guy. And it's Gunny Ermey.
