I'm assuming you have a Ruger OEM bolt. If so, think about either a KIDD or VQ bolt. Perfect head spacing will add to the accuracy. And so it goes with this hobby. LOL.

Went to the range again and it looks like the trigger/ammo combination has real close results. KIDD is worth the money. IMO

Good to hear, Chuck. Hey next time you're in Austin give me a holler. We can head out to BOTW and I'll let you have some trigger time with my full KIDD build... we'll make an even bigger believer out of ya:)

FWIW, Midway has the VQ trigger group on sale for $193. It's not two stage, but I have one in my 10/22 and have been very pleased.

    imho:

If anyone is going to spend over $200+ = KIDD 2 Stage

KIDD 2-Stage Triggers = Bar Setter for the rest of the 10/22 trigger market.
Since its release & to this day you can't beat it, break defines the saying "snapping a glass rod"

If your looking for a single stage, well KIDD has that down too.
But, its always fun building/working your own. VQ internals with a metal housing and some RFC mods = 1.75 to 2.5#
