Communism and social democracy are not the same things. Not where I live. Answer the question. Where does your "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need" philosophy end?

The industry is already fundamentally broken, probably by decisions made by government more than 70 years ago. We are the worst of any developed country. We spend 50% more than everyone else on healthcare. and yet we get far worse results. This is to address the money well spent question. So maybe we need to look at how other countries do things, because we are and have been for decades, failing.

It ends with treating all citizens equally. If you are going to afford a benefit to one group of people, such as Medicare, you need to do it for all regardless of which demographic they come from. Now if you want to get rid of government healthcare for all including veterans, old people, disabled people, government employees, and children then maybe we can have a conversation. Until then, it is an issue of equal protection.Close enough. Now answer the question.
Wasn't that the plot of a Michael Moore movie? The industry is already fundamentally broken, probably by decisions made by government more than 70 years ago. We are the worst of any developed country. Actually the opposite is true.If we are so awful on quality, why is it that so many government officials from the single payer countries always seem to come here for treatment? Major surgeries, cancer, etc?
