...hopefully it will be something similar to this Saiga/Vepr 9mm...

...or a Bizon or Vityaz copy (obviously this one is a SBR)...

Think I gave ~650 for the CX4. It was on sale at cabelas, where they mark it down to retail and call it a sale.

I believe you are right about that. The upper is totally unique and you can swap the charging handle from side to side.

I read where they are prone to certain failures and some people didn't have much luck with customer service.

The longer I own my Beretta the better I like it. All I have for optics is a cheap multi reticle red dot, it's cool because you can see the iron sites through the optic

I had good luck with a PA microdot. EoTech blocked the irons but works well otherwise.

If you get one, look up the trigger mod. Super easy to do if you decide you want it.

no worries, just trying to decide if I would be better off going with the PX4 magazine model since I have a PX4 storm subcompact or go with the 92 configuration and get 30 round capability. I think the 92 mags are cheaper....

Does the sub compact take the same mags as a full size PX4?

I guess the 20rnd mags would fit the SC but not the other way.

From what I found, there are more aftermarket options for 92 mags, but the price of factory mags were the same.
