Does the sub compact take the same mags as a full size PX4?

I guess the 20rnd mags would fit the SC but not the other way.

yes, the way I understand it is you can go bigger to smaller but not the other way around

From what I found, there are more aftermarket options for 92 mags, but the price of factory mags were the same.

the 30 round mags that fit the 92fs/CX4 are $35.99 from Beretta......prolly could get em a bit cheaper elsewhere, who knows????

Those are the standard PX4 mags. 20 rounds I think.

I got mine from Beretta, little bit nicer than the aftermarket options. Will pick up another when I get the original mags sold. Course, I forgot about them being for sale, lol.

Yup.

I don't have a PX4 anymore so the 92 mags make more sense for me.

The PX4 mags I have are actually 17round, I was mistaken earlier when I said 20.

I read where they are prone to certain failures and some people didn't have much luck with customer service.

Mine are factory. They suck. Early mags tho. Obtained when they first came out.
Newly made may be better.

I haven't actually shot mine yet, but when searching for a better price every review on aftermarket said go with Factory 30 rounders.

I will try to run the mag a couple times this evening and see what it does.

If you want to hunt with a pistol caliber carbine I suggest one the mech tech uppers for a Glock or 1911. One in 10mm should be a dandy! MechTech - Glock
