Same here. This debate started when Christian churches started ordaining openly gay ministers (they'd obviously ordained closeted gay ministers for quite a while).

The Church of Christ folks think non CoC people are going to hell. Baptists think Mormons are going to hell. Everyone is right and everyone else is wrong.

Same thing here... But it doesn't change the fact that there are homosexuals who wanted to be legally married AND had ordained ministers in churches who would have done it were it not prohibited by the GOVERNMENT, not religion. All this ruling did was remove a government injustice and leave it to the churches to decide who to marry, and the states to allow anyone else to marry outside the church, too, and all of them be legal under the eyes of the law.

Gay priest, sure because they have taken a vow of celibacy.

Gay married Christian priest? No. Any church that does that does not follow Christian teaching.

the deplorable, evil acts that ISIS and other radical muslims do on the world stage should be responded to in kind by millions of "peaceful" muslims world wide with a loud voice so no, I pay little attention to a couple of individual voices. These acts should be condemned corporately by millions, if they were indeed considered heinous.
There are one and a half BILLION Mulslims in the world. Where are the millions of peaceful ones condemning violence?

The supreme court isn't judging who gets into heaven. They're judging equal access to the benefits the law provides. That's the disconnect - there's a difference in what's legal (for everyone) and what's moral (for those who subscribe to a given moral code).

If by acting gay you mean having gay sex then yes. So is having straight sex outside of marriage.

there you go. You can be a recovering alcoholic If you don't act out and get drunk, you are living a virtuous life. The Apostle Paul talked about the inward struggle with sin and relying on his faith to fight those sinful urges. Everyone is tempted in some way.
