So you want a single party system?

This isn't north Korea. Hell,No I don't want a single party system. Are you not reading the word "balance" in my views?

Is there anything else you wish to ask of me? It's not changing my vote. That's already in stone. (That's my republican side saying that)

The gist I'm getting is he wants a no party system where we vote for individuals who will work together to make sure our country runs properly and keeps our civil liberties intact. Sounds great in theory, but as I said earlier, attention span doesn't hold that in reality...

I can't say. I'm not an expert on exactly what we need. But these two parties, need to stop going after one another, and work for the better of our country.

As much as a civil war would seem (perversely) as something romantic. It's not.

Me and my fellows citizens, regardless of our views....

Need to stand together. Not apart.

Personally, I don't believe the parties need to sand together. I think a lot of issues come for. Party Members falling in line.

We would be much better off if the gov got much less done. Things should be argued about profusely. Most things shouldn't pass.

I don't think anyone believes civil war is something romantic.

Younggun, I agree with you on that at the Federal level

I want a system, to where things get done. The views of all are respected.

Even if it is wrong (both the thinking and the voting).

Many, many people believe we are wrong.

I believe GH is making a bad choice, but it's his vote.

Maybe someday we could discuss our views, but I wouldn't expect him to change his mind over a forum conversation, nor would I ask or believe that he shouldn't vote.

I get part of what he's saying, but wish he would write in someone really good instead of voting for the same cookie from a different jar.

I see republicans as the high school principal, that swings on your ass without listening to why your there. One hard swat.

Democrat principle, swings on your ass, but gives your story a go, usually ending up with two swats, cause the only choice is two or three.

Both beat your ass in different ways, and both leave you sore.

My major was getting my ass whooped. And Damn, Texas school teachers could swing a pattle like a golf pro swings a club.

The Damn thing made a "whooosh" sound on the way to your behind'

My very first taste of government.

Im down on the GOP for a lot of things as well. But this voting for democrats thing is like a woman kicking out her husband and moving the drunk unemployed bum into the house instead of helping her husband improve.

I cannot wait until we get a benevolent dictator so these voting discussions wont be necessary.

First thing you need to do read thru Wendy Davis Campaign Views: Issues - Wendy Davis

I did and in fact got a chuckle out it. Read every one and could not find a SINGLE issue I could disagree with and therein lies the problem, "lies" being the keyword. You really have to understand the far left.

    1) the MEANS justify the ends (straight from their playbook) There is NO LIE off limits and any action or lack thereof that leads to the workers paradise of communism (Progressivism) and Socialism is justified

    2) Dims are DRIVEN by control, they see control of the people as the ultimate result and with that comes vast amounts of money and riches. [here again I have to point towards the series on the 10 years leading up to WWII on how Hitler rose to power. He and his top followers became multi-millionares and in todays money, billionaires] Mexico was like that for most of its modern history, where 5% of the population controlled 95% of the countries wealth. Just look at the many we have and their insatiable need to control everything in our lives from the size of our drink, to what we drink and how much salt on our fries.

Davis is working on wedging her way into the upper elite of the Dims along with the CASTRO brothers. If elected she will offer up Texas which is the PLUM in the Dim strategy. If they can get Texas then the communist-socialist juggernaut will launch full steam ahead and your life will so radically change you will wake up each day in disbelief.

Iam afraid that the midterms here in Texas are not going to be as good as we hope. You do know that Texas has the lowest voter turn out of any state!!
