Thanks for the update. I contemplate visiting the San Marcos and William Cannon Academy's from time to time but haven't followed through. Last time i was there they were cleaned out of almost everything. Still the same?
To be honest, I'm not hurting that bad, so I'm not in line with the neckbeards at 9:00 am. I stop by from time to time at lunch or after work, but I haven't seen squat here in San Marcos. Our problem is that there isn't any other place to get ammo locally.

If you get to most stores before noon on delivery days you'll find a little bit of everything. I saw 38 special for the 1st time since it all started. Even had 6.5 Grendel at one store. The 9mm ammo lingers because it's almost $20/box.

I'll be glad when I can buy bricks of .22's for $20 and cases of target 12 gauge for $60 again!

I don’t believe that will happen. After the return of 22’s from the first shortage the price did not return to the pre-shortage prices.

Same thing happened with the last two primer shortages as well. People were so relieved to get them no one complained about the new increases.

They had 5.56 and 7.62x51 in Weatherford. Almost got a couple boxes of 5.56, but just couldn’t do $14 a box when I remembered I was good for a little while.

I haven’t checked academy in Conroe in a few weeks.

a few weeks ago I bought 400 rounds of 556 from there. I spent around 250$.
I won’t be needing any 223 or 555 for a long time. I am good to go. I could even afford a range trip if I don’t get to stupid.
