I’ve never had much respect for him at all. He’s never had to fight an armed threat, but willing to kick a town at it’s lowest moment. Same bolt of cloth as that Beto stunt.I get disagreeing with him…

I think you've misunderstood me. I'm talking about the people that DO get put on the news, and I don't care what you think I should or shouldn't watch, but I land in various places and see the Republican talking head on Fox, CNN, etc... where the people I see at these fuel stops are watching, and it's criminal that they don't grow a spine and speak the truth. I watch plenty of alternative stuff on my own, but you have to also go where people are at if you want to change hearts and minds. You need to stop watching legacy news. The people I see on my shows are constantly doing exactly what you suggest... and have for decades now.
The oppo side and the gun grabbers are focused on what they dream will be quick fixes (blaming objects instead of policies/practices/people) as well as making political points. Again, they ignore any info or fix that doesn't fit their agenda.
Things are going to get worse. Very bad. Then the people that want to fix our broken society will have to line up against the people that want to blame, burn it all down, and start over with a very anti-human system. Hoping I'm not on the planet for that!!!
The classroom door was hardened. Created a problem for responders to get in the room.
Young elementary school kids are not going to fight back, at least not with any effectiveness.
That is what I heard. If they were fire doors, just trip the alarm and deenergize the locks.Wasn't there a knox box on the building that would contain a master key for all the doors in the building?
So did Abbott knowingly lie when he said the hero cops ran into a hail of bullets or was he told wrong Information?
Fast forward to 5:30
Fox News is reporting gunman was arrested 4 years ago for saying he was going to attack the school before he graduated……Holy Shit
They haven’t reported that but sounds probableLet me guess, his record was sealed since he was a juvenile....

I'd guess that would be the best way to hide any evidence of past history to sweep things under the rug. to keep things from blowing up. That people had an idea he was dangerous and nothing was done. They haven’t reported that but sounds probable
I would encourage all of y'all to flood his inboxes.Sir,
The 2nd amendment is very, very clear. The right of the people to bear arms "Shall not be infringed" and we are concerned that you may try to do just that.
The issue with the school shootings is NOT the guns, it is the sinful ideologies being taught in schools, and homes, and on TVs that allows humans to believe that it is OK to murder other humans. The laws, if anything, need to get tougher, and faster in dealing with crime, and we need to teach young people to value human life. "Thou Shalt NOT Murder" and the rest of the Ten Commandments need to be put back into the schools.
The freedom and security of our state depends on your wisdom in this matter...
" ***being necessary to the security of a free State*** , the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
On Wednesday, Abbot said it was unknown at that time if there was a juvenile record but the Rangers were pursuing that angle as well.
I’ve always seen a master key for the building. The Knox Box is for the key for the main door and the fire department has the only key to it. It's for them to use to get into the building when there is a false alarm.
I've taken four different ALERRT active shooter course spanning twenty years. After Columbine it was four man entries, then it was two, now we're down to single man entries if the situation calls for that. In none of those classes did they ever discuss a barricaded active shooter.
So now you combine a barricaded suspect, in which SWAT is traditionally called out, with an active shooter incident in which the shooter has a distinct tactical advantage.
How do you deal with a situation in which most police officers have never been trained? You're now getting into the realm of a dealing with a barricaded suspect, breaching, room entry, CQB, and possibly using a diversionary device. That is way out of the wheelhouse of a typical patrol officer.
I think this will be a paradigm shift in LE active shooter training. I've already started to see it in my department. Things that were only in the SWAT realm are now being taught to patrol officers.

Beto making a fool of himself.
What should have happened was having him arrested for disorderly conduct.
