I was there just afternoon, pretty much second the previous comments, short line, easy to get around the show, wide aisles, had my TGT hat on, but guess everyone was already gone.

Nice to be able to walk around without running into everyone. Prices are definitely better on the AR's and AK's. Ammo is still ridiculous, but there seemed to be more of it.

I drove up from SA & show was awesome, some good deals on ammo which I never see at the shows here in San Antonio. Ammo Kan killed it by setting up right at the entrance, got 400 rounds of .40 for $68 and 1100 .22 LR for $50. Picked up a Bi tone Walther P22 to join in the fun with my P30 and XDs for $331, was delayed by the FBI but they called back 20 min later to give me the thumbs up. Line was ridiculous when I got there at 8:30 but cut in half when they sent the people with pre sold tickets to the right of us and everyone with weapons to be checked to the left.

Kurt that's a good deal on the pmags. They must have dropped prices from yesterday. I didn't see any near that price.

I didn't enjoy the creepy repeated announcement regarding 30.06 law. I know I know. I saw the sign.

Yeah, I haven't seen any at that price since before the CT shooting. I grabbed five after seeing the price on the table and headed to the register. I was prepared to be disappointed when I asked the price, but sure enough!

Damn decent show. Much better than the expo center shows and right in my own backyard. When I saw the 22lr ammo selling for 150/500, i decided to cash in a few bricks I had lying around. I brought 3 bricks, 1 golden bullet bulk and 2 of eley sport and sold them to a vendor for $200 bucks. Put that cash back into a gun and I am now a proud owner of a Beretta Nano. Went there with low expectations, left with a new gun. I think the high priced 22 ammo is going away soon though, pretty much now one was buying at over $75/brick of 500. All in all a great show, looking forward to the next one in July.

I'm not so sure about the 223 going down too much soon. DHSs contacts are probably going to see supply staying pretty low for a while. Who knows though maybe we will see more ammo suppliers start honoring civilian orders before government like a few are doing.

Still it was nice to see the prices on ARs at the show have gone down. Cheapest one I saw was 800. When I went to a KY gun show around Christmas the cheapest me and my step dad saw were 1400

Anyone else see the cart being pulled around full of ammo for sale? They came in about 1230 or so on Saturday.

I'm sure they could have been found at Walmart/academy a lot in the preceding months.

I saw a box of 500 rounds of 7.62x54 right by front door for $499 LOL and in the arena floor one vendor had 220 rounds for $125 and 440 rounds $250. No thanks, I could order online today for 88/$250 shipped to door without looking hard. Picked up some targets and jerky LOL

That was Alamo Ammo. Those guys are a bunch of twirps. Problem is that idiots buy at those prices. People need to stop being stupid and paying for those prices, and starve those places so that they are forced to lower prices. Hope those fools all feel dumb when prices drop over night and their sure fire investment turns into a monumental loss.
