Someone posted a video here of bEETtoe using the fbomb and other foul mouth stuff recently here, does anyone have a link to that? Thanks

    Williamr,

I'm NOT surprised, as in 2018 it has become "fashionable" for the younger set (and for BOTH genders!!) to use vulgar & downright obscene language in public & to do any number of other behaviors that even my generation (I went to college in the last 1/2 of "the wild & wooly" 1960s.) would NOT have stooped to.

The late teens to 30s "set" seem to me to be the worst offenders".

My Darla was HORRIFIED when one of her "business associates", who is married with 2 school-aged kids, announced that she plans to post a full frontal nude photos of herself on her "wall". (The woman has recently had both reconstructive breast surgery, coupled with "considerable augmentation"), as she said that, "I want everyone to see my 'new' Double-Ds".)
While I'm FAR from being "a prude", I think that that sort of thing is just "trashy".

    just my OPINION, satx

While I’m not condoning the behavior, look at what’s acceptable on TV these days. Just regular TV with an over the air antenna has foul language and gays kissing. It’s unfortunate but I’m afraid it’s only going to get worse. The more and more it’s thrown at children, they will think it’s the norm. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but even the shows that are supposed to be family friendly are unacceptable for younger audiences.

..and now I've begun to see tv commercials with guys kissing and holding hands..

    Yuck!

Mainstreaming gay tv commercials doesn't make such eye sores something I 'have' to accept as the norm..

But, I supposedly 'have to accept' whatever the pc crowd insists I must accept as they 'know' what's best.

    No, no they don't and I won't!

I'll continue to rely on my own digression. If that upsets the pc apple cart, too bad.

What's that saying?: "You ain't the boss of me". Well, you ain't..

I don't care to see two normal people (that is, a man and woman) exhibiting sexualized behavior, never mind two guys or two gals. Leave that crap out of sight. Yeah, I know it exists, but I won't have it forced on me.

You want to sell me a product with a commercial hoping I'll be swayed - not gonna happen with that kinda crap in the commercial.

    Mowingmaniac,

ANY TV sponsor/advertiser who sponsors shows in "prime time" or has a commercial that Darla & I wouldn't want our 10YO niece to see will NOT get our business, no matter how much that we might want/need their products. = FACT.
(We both wonder how many adults feel the same about "smut" on broadcast/cable TV, during the hours that young children are likely to be watching.)

    yours, Darla & satx

I watch a lot of British TV. It's often smarter and I tend to like the sense of humor. However, it's for adults.

What it has the potential (and seems to be trying) to normalize in the minds of young viewers is disturbing to me.

Cussing isn't the problem, we all do that.

The problem is this clown is stupid enough to do it when running for public office.

But being a fool seems normal for him.

The first one of his commercials I saw, I thought,
"This must be a joke. Even the Democrats aren't stupid enough to run this clown for any office.

    M2 Carbine,

Beto "the PHONY Latino" is the ONLY sort of candidate that the DIMocRATS are running from coast to coast: LEFTIST, "young & good-looking", to try to attract the women's vote & running commercials that say NOTHING about how FAR to the RADICAL LEFT that they actually are.
(The 100% FALSE & NASTY "attack commercials" are paid for by leftist PACS, which are supported by the SOCIALIST rich elites.)

Yeah with all the money he raised a lot of people think he has a very good chance of becoming our senator. I truly pray that doesn't come to pass. I am also worried about what is happening in Florida. That damn hurricane wiped out a huge portion of the part of the state that is the most conservative. I am getting afraid that these democraps have a chance to pull this off. I am wondering why in Arizona the race is so close I am the Republican candidate was the first woman to fly an F-18 and was in the military while the democrap called her state the meth capital of the world and other crappy things and they are neck and neck. I am having trouble wrapping my 70 year old brain around how things are so close. We should be winning all over by a landslide so we can continue to drain the swamp.

Not to pick nits, but the Republican Candidate for Senator in Arizona (Martha McSally) is an Air Force Academy graduate who was the first female U.S. fighter pilot to fly in combat--an A-10 and NOT an F-18--and was the first female to command a fighter squadron. She's a retired colonel with combat decorations including the Bronze Star and six Air Medals. She retired with 2,600 flying hours--including over 325 combat hours.

In addition to her degree from the Air Force Academy, she took a masters degree (Master of Public Policy) from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, at Harvard University.

I use to think that too but when the party is literally filled with clowns lacking knowledge of the Constitution and laws, well you need a head clown to lead the party.
Now for rational people like ourselves, that seems absurd BUT there are more and more irrational people and sadly, they vote. Dropping f bombs in front of the camera, gender fluidity, ignoring certain laws for the good of the people, meaning themselves is all ok to them. Perfectly normal. You are the weird one.

    Antares,

I believe that a RED TIDE will prevail over the hateful DIMs.

    yours, satx
I do too, but for how long? Once the red wave comes in, the GOP needs to get their ass and actually govern for the good of citizens. Honestly, they do not have it in them, generally speaking.

Just another bad thing about social media. What it has turned people into is horrifying when you think about the future were headed to.

People never acted like they do know in mixed company cause you would get an instant and chrystal clear attitude adjustment and course correction.
