I know a handful in that age bracket that actually vote, and it won't be / wasn't for Beto. I do know a couple that are severe Bernie-bros though, but I don't think they actually vote in mid-terms.

Apparently, bernie fans have yet to pay attention to what a horror socialism/marxist has proven itself to be everywhere it's been tried, yet like zombies it won't stay dead.

The two I'm thinking of - both young, one very sweet the other not so much (recently married couple). Very hippie, but both have a job because they at least understand they need to. But their views are very close to their own personal circle - they don't interact outside of it much at all. They're fully on board with the "minimalist" lifestyle, want the whole "tiny home on a trailer" thing so they can conserve. In a nutshell, if they could live life in a tiny socialist community of maybe 10 people exactly like them, they'd maybe have something (until the first disagreement).

I have thought aboutcarrying a red sharpie and writing loser on every sticker I see on a car. It will take awhile though.

Win or lose these millineil socialists are not going away. CBS had Cruz up 10pts and the today news was saying a UT poll stated Cruz was up only 3.5%

Other polling has stated it is a sure thing that the democrats take the House. Vote like your way of life depends on it.....because it does. If Republicans win, they should take the momentum to slap the left silly but that is not what will happen.

Plenty of my former students (all between 19 and 23) are not voting BETO.. A lot of them are.. Probably 75% but 25% of them are not.

Guy on West U's Nextdoor app was complaining his Ted Cruz sign disappeared overnight, accompanied by a photo of the now bare frame.

The consensus of opinion from his heavily liberal neighbors was that ..."oh, the wind blew it away", refusing, like good little unobservant, liberal robot thinkers, to acknowledge that ALL the Beto signs were still intact in the photo.

I did educate my 18 year old son and engage him in critical thinking exercises regarding key positions and voting considerations. I draw the line at demanding his vote for a specific party, but I did pressure him HARD (pestering) to go vote.

He shared with me later that he voted straight ticket red.

Oh, I didn't (and couldn't) "demand [they] vote for a specific party", but I laid out how if they believe this or that--like I think they do--then it would be awfully difficult to support B-toe despite the flood of young millennials who seem transfixed by the guy.

Yes, I told him to consider the issues he was in stark disagreement with Beto on, and notice how much heavy effect those disagreements might have on his life ...
vs how little weight on his life that the issues he might agree with Beto on might have (For example abortion).
