As predicted, scheduled for a Saturday delivery, still waiting on it....

If that's a common occurrence it could be your specific mail man. My brother-in-law's mailman in Cedar Park was taking 2 hour long breaks, reading magazines and drinking coffee at 3pm at HEB and their mail was almost always a day later than anticipated by the USPS. Needless to say he has been replaced.

Neighbors kept getting their mail late, then someone noticed him at HEB sitting down with coffee and a magazine in the middle of the day. Other neighbors kept seeing him there day after day and I guess someone reported it.

Mine showed up about 7pm last night.

They require significant pressure in order to fire properly, but do what they should.

Both are identical it seems.
Tight lock up, but the button must be pushed deliberately to fire, can't pussy-foot around.

Mine has loosened up a little, but still requires a solid thumb. I like.

I oiled mine, half opened it ~100x - it's a little bit smoother. Works for me. I really don't want it opening up in my pocket and going all Bobbit on me.
