Brain Surgery Scheduled

I'm not going into details because this has already been a long haul.

My vet and LEO son is scheduled for surgery next week. I'm in Houston taking care of grandkids and doing what I can.

A bad "jump' in '05 and a recent auto crash have resulted in the discovery of a Cranio-Spinal Leakage due to multiple basal scull fractures. It explains a lot in regard to behaviors and memory lapses....

They will be going through the back of the skull. ENT & Neuros will be on the team.

I'm usually private and guarded about family things, but this is my eldest (37, yes, I'm old) and we've been through a lot together - to say the least.

Your prayers would be appreciated.

Prayers but you're not old in my book. I have grandkids that old amd great grand kids in high school... Hummmmmph

I'm gong to have focused ultrasound soon for essential tremors. Anything that happens in the brain is serious. Best wishes

In the hospital waiting room and General Hospital is on the TV. The irony!

AND, just saw Jerry Mathers , The Beaver, doing an ad for a medical device to improve blood flow to the feet. He did NOT age well!

And, what were the creators of that show thinking naming him, "Beaver Cleaver"?

Surgery is complete and all seems to have gone well. They drained several areas of fluid and patched the main area that seems to have been causing the fluid loss. He is attached to a device that is monitoring pressure levels in his spinal column and brain. That will remain for several days to ensure that the problem has been corrected.

Thank you for your continued prayers. And praise our heavenly Father for His guidance and protection.
