Just got a Dell Laptop (Dell G5 15 SE 5505) and I can't get it to boot from USB flash drive or CD drive. The flash drive is bootable, I've used it before.
It came with Win 10 Home.
There are three things I'd like to do:
1. I'd like to clone the HD to have as a backup.
2. I'd like to run Win 10 Pro instead (I have the disc) but I don't want to upgrade the current install.
3. I'd like the option to install a Linux distro.
If I had another HD would it be possible to install Win 10 Pro, up to the point where it has just finished copying the files to the HD using another computer and then putting the new HD into the laptop?
Bootable flash drive was in USB port but not recognized when pics were taken.
