At least I got exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price and within two minutes of walking in.

Decent show. Most of the .22 ammo was under $0.10 a round. Not a great deal but at least getting reasonable. Saw some good deals but just ended up with a few odds and ends.

Same. Was glad to finally see .22 coming down. You can always pick out the occassional overproud seller, and AK's are nearly always hit or miss at the shows, but there were decent deals around and by and large most things were fairly priced.

I saw a number of Walther P99's, which you don't see many of. The Shady Oaks folks had one for $399 that was very tempting. Unfortunately I was a bit rushed for time or I might have pondered it a little longer and brought it home. I've been wanting a PPQ-M1, which I did see there, but it wasn't a screaming deal. This wasn't the first time I couldn't decide between a P99 and a PPQ and ended up buying neither.

I finally got to fondle an HK VP-9 - very nice. One for the short list. Essentially the same as the P-30 but striker fired and $250 cheaper.

All in all one of the better Cedar Park shows, I think. Very glad to have it back. I saw that they added a June show also (June 27-28).
