Merry Christmas all. First one with all of my kids solidly out of the house. 2/3'rds are coming over tomorrow, but not as much fun as them jumping up and down begging to get their presents. 1/3rd isn't coming until a couple of weeks.

Merry Christmas to all of my TGT family

My blood family, which consist of my Grand.daughter, got here about 11 PM and
will stay until 6 or 7 PM. Then head back home to Gilmer. Christmas is about the
only time I get to see her.

Pat Benatar started as an opera singer, too. I'm not much for the operatic style, but the range and power it gives a singer can be amazing.

Pat was from our home town, one year behind me graduating from Lindenhurst NY high school. She is in the year book.

The only thing I'm allowed to do is get the tree out of the attic and into the house.
The wife then starts putting the tree together (I"m not allowed to even touch the tree
except to put it in the tree holder). Then she spends 2 - 3 days putting all of the
decorations on it. When she finishes, about all you can see are the decorations
and very little of the tree.

Oh, by the way, our tree is 8 feet tall.

Wife sold our tree at our garage sale, she said she is done decorating. Fine with me.

My daughter complains mightily when I sing along with Thurl Ravencroft when the theme song comes on the radio. I'm told by others I do a pretty good impression, though.

Merry Christmas! Odd day, daughter-in-law went to the ER at 10pm last night so drove to Ft Worth and watched the grandkids (sleeping) then left at 2:30am to come back home. Didn't see any flying reindeer nor too many vehicles at 3am in the morning.
