Cool. I'm waiting til they'll pro rate for the rest of the year. I've
Only been to the sharp shooter. Pretty chaotic.

Schwenke's is $100/year I believe and your family (wife and kids) can come with on your membership, they do the membership from one year from when you sign up not a set date at the beginning of the year. The biggest complaint I have is they don't allow guests outside immediate family, you have to have a membership to shoot there.

CC Rifle and Pistol does allow guests with a member but not sure on their specific rules to that.

They technically have a pistol area, two "private" 25 yard areas, and a rifle area with berms at 25, 50, 100, and 200. If it's not crowded they don't care if you shoot rifle, shotgun, or pistol in any area just have to use common sense and not shoot behind or in front of another shooter (mainly a concern in the pistol area where you can walk up to the target). I wouldn't call it a big range but it's a good size, you drive up to the office and sign in, they have targets you can buy if you don't have your own and you can check out a stapler if you need it, then drive through a cattle gate that you open, drive through, then close it behind you and drive up to the shooting areas. You can bring stuff to shoot at (clay pigeons, soda cans, water balloons, etc no glass) as long as you clean up your trash. You'll occasionally see staff roll through to do a cleanup or take a look if it's a little busy but other than that there's no RSO's that patrol like a hawk. They basically tell you when you sign up for a membership that everyone is an RSO that anyone can call a cease fire, etc and it goes by gentleman's code for cease fire to check targets and what not. Overall I like the place just wish they stayed open later.

I'm assuming at the shop? If so I will definitely do my best to at least swing by

When we had that range day thing at your place a few weeks ago, you mentioned that Tyler had just run a 5k or 10k. You observed that apparently that wasn't enough for him, so he had gone out and run some more.

I couldn't figure that out, seeing as how I hadn't seen Tyler in some time. When he showed up at the shop, it all made more sense. I would not have recognized him if I had seen him on the street.

Well, congratulations to him, for sure!

I gotta' work in Wharton and West Columbia today so won't be able to make it.

Good for Tyler. I'm sure you're very proud of him.
