    Helotes!
The model that is the basis for all of the decisions to date (IHME) was updated again today and it sure look broken to me.,

    https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america

It is showing peak resource usage tomorrow with an expected shortage of 8k ICU beds.

Also maximum deaths occurring today with a range of 500 to 5.5k.

Also shows NYS peaking 2 days ago with a shortage of 5,227 ICU beds! Not a word of that actually happening.

    Definitely BROKEN!

Maybe they’ll fix it before too many people see how ridiculous the current forecast looks!!

    Look at Texas...

Can’t believe I agree with the biotch about shutting down the root of the problem ... congress.

    Let Trump handle it.
Agree with your initial reaction. ...and let Trump EO it? Im Ok with that.

....but, on the other hand, when we are under a National Emergency I feel Congress should be locked in their building until its over. If we EVER needed them to do their dammed jobs its now. Cater to them, bed em, no one in, no one out.

Gooses, Ganders, and all that shit.

I disagree. Shut congress permanently. Anytime those power mad psychopaths claim they’re solving a problem, they make it worse.

One of the best things about Texas is our legislature only meets every 2 years, so it takes longer for them to screw things up.

You don’t know what you are asking for...

Representative government is good, but perhaps it would be better if the various states went their separate ways starting with the Left coast and Commiefornia and places like Pew York and Virginia formerly home of patriots.

We need to stop letting them drag us down with them. That would probably actually help them right their own situation faster if they couldn’t benefit from the Texas economy and were left with their own debts and mess.

I would have normally agreed with you until last few weeks. Texas doesn’t need a Legislative Branch anymore.
We have King Abbott.. or The Lawgiver.. as he wants to be known as.

Here are just a few of the new rules that the Lawgiver has enacted in the past month.

    Closed Schools

Ordered all peasants to stay home except for essential travel.

Decided what business are essential and while are not.

Cancelled all elective medical procedures.. including but not limited to dental work, some cancer treatments, orthopedic surgeries & most heart catheter procedures.

Closed all state parks and historic sites

Prohibited eating in at any restaurant

Closed all hair salons and barber shops

This is just a few of his decrees...
