    Perfect for me is what fits my hand the best and that would be the Ruger SP101. However, shooting 357MAG out if it is not my favorite though.

    .357 Mag is a tough critter for us weak, arthritic elders.

    I keep the .38Spl “+P” loads in mine. As my usual backup is limited to those, I feed it to both.

    Son recently put about 150 .357’s through it for a police revolver qualification, said it ran well. Son is not a wheel-gun Guy.

    I can manage it in the Python or a big S&W, but couldn’t in a J-frame.

    This is my entry, it lacks the trigger of my former S&W 27 but still will roll a beer can at 100 yards!
    It is a 3 screw 357 on a Super Blackhawk grip frame with SB trigger and hammer which are both polished and shimmed the barrel is ribbed for shooting steel in the desert in the 70's I have the original parts and barrel to restore but never will. The scrimshaw is one of a kind and signed. scope is Leupold
