Range Rules

No FMJ on the rifle range, argh. I only have a limited amount of hollow point 5.56 and I'm not going to waste soft point ammo shooting at paper. I think I'm good, though. Anybody know if they allow shotguns? I've got a Mossy 930 semi-auto that I have yet to put through its paces.

1.) Rifle range: No Full Metal Jacket ammo. All ammo must be soft point or hollow point. If you're not sure ask the Range Officer. No full auto, 2 seconds between shots minimum! No 50 cal BMG. The 100 yard rifle range allows for seated benchrest style - NO off hand, prone, etc allowed. We have other ranges where these techniques can be practiced.

I think you are quoting Quail Creek Range rules. It's a different place.

Yes, you can shoot FMJ. I do every time I take my AR. Thank goodness cause that's all I own.

MHO, most do. That's why I like it here. I really don't like being stuck in a 2' piece of real estate anyhow.

Drive up the hill and yes it is. That is if it is fairly easy to maneuver on dirt.
